He mastered the remote control quickly. I'm very happy with the purchase. I got this for my 4-year-old son's room and have it safely mounted on the wall out of his reach. He loves it and it sounds great in his medium-sized room. Still not sure about the overall longevity of the thing (I suspect it won't last as long as the 27-year-old Onkyo receiver still in use in my household), but so far it's all good.

I bought the stystem for my 15 year old as a Christmas gift and he loves it.It is a good size and the sound is just right. He did not mount it as he did not trust the mounting gear. It was easy for him to operate which makes it a plus.
The CD player has very good sound and is very easy to use, the price we paid was totally out of line as the seller was buying this at a retail price $69.00 and then increasing the price to $169.00--very disturbing.
I did a lot of research and finally I found this Mircrosystem.I am very happy with it.It has several features, sleepmode, timer, you can program lots of radiostations and the sound is fantastic.Plus it is portable too, because it is not too big. In the morning it wakes me up at around 7am with my favorite radiostaion.At night I use it for my Relaxation CD and it works wonderfully. And it looks fantastic too.Also, I got it for 50% off here on amazon. I guess once in a while one is just lucky.Since I have it, I use it everyday. Even if you wouldn't put it on sleepmode, it shuts itself off automatically which I find very comforting.I am going to use this device when the baby arrives, so I can play her some music:-)all in all superb quality. Very happy with it.
